Setsubun bento with sushi in Japan enjoyed the day after the Setsubun festival

Setsubun Bento in Japan: Enjoying Sushi the Day After the Festival

Hello everyone ☀
This is Miyu from the KNI Operations Team!

Following our previous post about the Setsubun festival, I wanted to share a photo of my bento lunch from the next day .

Yes… it is still part of the Setsubun mood! 🤣🍣✨
Even after the festival ends, the delicious memories remain.

The Aftertaste of Setsubun

Setsubun is a traditional Japanese event that marks the beginning of spring in Japan . During this festival, people eat Ehomaki sushi rolls and perform a bean-throwing ritual to bring good luck.

Because the food is so tasty, many people enjoy it even the next day. My lunch bento was filled with sushi, which made the Setsubun feeling last a little longer .

Sometimes the best part of a festival is the aftertaste and memories that remain the next day.

A Small Fun Challenge

By the way, there is something interesting in the background of the photo.

Can anyone guess what video is playing on the screen behind me?

If you know the answer, please leave a comment and let us know!
And of course, let’s become friends and talk more about Japan together! 🤣✨

Experience Japanese Food Culture

Japanese festivals are not only about traditions but also about food and shared moments . Seasonal dishes like sushi during Setsubun help people celebrate and enjoy time with family and friends.

If you are planning to visit Japan, experiencing local food traditions is one of the best ways to understand Japanese culture.
