Day 1: Begin Your Southern Thailand Tour (40 km)
You’ll be greeted at Surat Thani airport by our team and transferred for less than an hour to have lunch at a restaurant, then it’s time to start riding. We take a quiet, shady country road through a rubber tree plantation as we head to our beachside resort on Khanom Beach.

Day 2: Khanom Beach Loop (72 km)
We do a loop ride along the coast, past some stunning beaches, through a fishing village to a cave. We’ll then head to a refreshing waterfall on our way back to the hotel. We’ll be riding through an area that is missed by most tourists, so don’t be surprised at the reactions you’ll get from the locals at seeing a foreigner on a bicycle.

Day 3: Khanom to Cheow Laan Lake Ride (60 km)
Transfer for two hours then, we ride 20 km before we stop for lunch at Singkom Cave Temple. Back on the bikes, we cycle towards the pier where we’ll meet our boat for a ride beneath towering karst cliffs to our floating accommodation on Cheow Laan Lake. Our bamboo bungalows are simple, but clean, and have the unique opportunity to dive directly into the lake for a swim. If there’s time before dinner, go for a sunset kayak to try and spot monkeys.

Day 4: Cheow Laan Lake to Khao Sok National Park Ride (40 km)
After waking up to the sounds of the jungle we’ll take the boat back to the pier to collect our bikes. We’ll start our day with a downhill ride and then take a road that undulates and winds through a series of magnificent limestone cliffs and green jungle along the edge of Khao Sok National Park to the riverside lodge.

Day 5: Takua Pa and Koh Kho Khao Ride (52 km)
Our ride will take us to the outskirts of Takua Pa. We then ride towards our ferry to Koh Kho Khao Island. We’ll stop en route to visit the Tsunami Victim Cemetery which memorialises the victims from the UK after the tsunami in 2004. The short ferry brings us to an island oasis and we’ll ride the short 6 km to our beachfront resort.

Day 6: Rest Day
A free day to relax and enjoy the endless beach. Feel free to take the bikes and explore the island. In the late afternoon, we’ll can on an exploration of the mangroves by boat. Koh Kho Khao is one of Thailand’s best-kept secrets, the quiet beauty of this island will take your breath away.

Day 7: Koh Kho Khao to Khao Lak (46 km) then check in to The Haven Khao Lak
We cycle to the ferry pier and then it’s a short ride to visit the beachside Tsunami Memorial at Ban Nam Khem and the big fishing boat that was carried an amazing two kilometres inland by the surging waters. We then head inland and take a quiet backroad through small villages, shady rubber plantations and cross rivers as we cycle to the small waterfall of Sai Rung. There’s a dipping pool at the base perfect for cooling off before we have lunch. Then we cycle to our hotel, The Haven Khao Lak.

Day 8: Check out of The Haven Khao Lak, then embark on Khao Lake to Kok Kloy 35 km
This morning we will check out of The Haven Khao Lak. We ride back roads, along canals, past palm and rubber plantations, shrimp farms and along the beach to our next seaside resort. It’s an easy-riding day so you have time to enjoy the pool at your hotel. Kok Kloy is another quiet location that takes you to the heart of Thai culture in the south. You can use your free time to explore.

Day 9: Kok Kloy and Koh Yao Noi
We transfer to Phuket to catch our boat to Koh Yao Noi island. Once on land, we’ll explore this paradise island before reaching our overnight at a homestay with a local fishing family in their traditional home. In the evening, we’ll head to the night market and try some local favourites, including roti. Koh Yao Noi is one of the more popular Yao islands, however, you’ll still find yourself being the only person on the road!

Day 10: Koh Yao Noi to Krabi Ride (34 km)
We ride to the pier where we catch our boat for the 45-minute ride through karsts back to the mainland. Once on land, we’ll ride through palm plantations, pineapple fields, forests and we’ll be towered over by stunning limestone cliffs as we cycle to Krabi. One of the most popular destinations in southern Thailand, the once small town of Ao Nang offers a stark contrast to Koh Yao Noi.

Day 11: Departure
Today your 11-day southern Thailand tour comes to an end. We will arrange airport transfers depending on your departing flight. Krabi airport is around 45 minutes from Ao Nang.
